Breaking Up Is Hard To Do, Is U.S. Headed That Way?

This is an interesting thought experiment on what could happen if things go WAY downhill.

The US might collapse into six pieces, according to a theory proposed by Russian political scientist Igor Panarin. And the current economic crisis in the country, amplified by mass protests, might be the beginning.

Yet Another Metro Atlanta Bank Fails

Fayetteville, Ga.-based Southern Community Bank was seized late Friday by state and federal banking regulators, in the 12th Georgia bank failure in the last 11 months.

This comes in the same week that GA posted record unemployment and the construction market continued to collapse. Doesn’t seem like a recovery is in the cards this year.
