AMD, Radio Shack Team to Bring $299 PC To US

AMD brings bare-bones PC to consumers – Yahoo! News
Radio Shack plans to start selling a low-cost alternative to the personal computer starting Sunday.

The $299 machine, dubbed the Personal Internet Communicator, was designed by Advanced Micro Devices to access the Internet and perform basic computing tasks.

This the personal blog of Elmer Masters. I’ve been blogging since October 2000, mostly for my own amusement. I am a web developer, IT manager, and occasional consultant. I’ve managed IT departments at a couple of law schools, and started my professional career as a reference law librarian while working my way through law school.
