Elsevier Research Solutions Inside Academic Sales Representative – Social Science Research Network
Are you looking for a new challenge?

Are you adept at developing relationships and identifying new opportunities to upsell current clients, working over the phone and via Webex presentations? Are you eager to act as a trusted advisor to the customer. Our clients are major academic institutions, deans, research librarians and faculty. We need a bright, motivated inside sales person to develop long term relationships with key decision makers within major universities.
Through a carefully planned boarding process, the inside Sales Representative will ensure that the customer fully realizes the return on their investment. Continual engagement with the customer will ensure they understand the value of our services thereby ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and maximizing revenue for SSRN/Elsevier.
A recent acquisition of Elsevier, Social Science Research Network (SSRN) is devoted to providing “tomorrow’s research today” through specialized research networks in the social sciences and humanities. We facilitate the free posting and sharing of research material (e.g., conference papers, preprints, non-peer-reviewed papers) in our subject areas. Social science papers tend to have fewer co-authors, so networking and sharing ideas, hypotheses and drafts during the research process are critical; SSRN helps authors evolve their research and communicate their results worldwide and our online forums enhance these communications.
